If a guy is too up himself, just tell him this...
"Womens faults are many,
Men have only two...
Everything they say
And everything they do."
Shuts them up every time!

Not all men think they know everything ... I don't know how to operate our washing machine - but I could learn, my wife doesn't know how to wire a light fitting - but she could learn ...
It's all down to a misconception - men have historically been the ones who went out to work - even as far back as hunter/gatherer types - while women stayed at home to run the house and raise the kids. Times are now changing and as more women follow careers, they learn more and can therefore rightly say on occasion that they know more than men - but possibly only on a specific topic.
How many women know the offside law? Even many men don't know it now!

How old are you? No just kidding! You really need to not fight the man that has got you spending one more second of thought to whether you care if he is or not. Hah that is exactly what I do when my man gets that all too often idea that he knows it all. His crap is in one ear and out the other and I get more than satifaction knowing that my life will be just okey dokey without his knowledge and wisdom. Look at them and just give them that far off "I am out to lunch look." and go eat while they sit alone with a cheese sandwich!

This is a sweeping generalisation. Not all men are that way .. me for one. I have learnt most of the things I know in life from keeping quiet and listening to people who know more than me .. many of whom have been women.
Also are you suggesting that there are no women who behave in this way?
In general humans have a need to assert themselves .. to show off .. kinda like a mating dance but all the time .. it makes us feel good when people see us as sources of information and a certain level of intelligence.
Would agree that some people see themselves as way above the rest .. but they are easily brought down to earth by us normal people :)

my EX has always been like that, and i don't know why... i think its just programmed in them or something. But its not cool, he and i would get into fights all the time because whatever i said i was always wrong... and he called me the know it all.
OK one time i went shopping and he likes Hellman's mayo. well i did not see it on the shelf, so i called one of the stock boys over and asked him if they had any reg. bottles of it. i was told no, that all they get now is the squeeze bottle. well i told my EX this and he called me a lier... and still to this day he does not believe me. Every time i go shopping he asks me if they had it, and when i tell him no... he says its funny cause they have it in there every time i go...(this place stopped getting it 2 months ago) he has not gone shopping in 4 months there!

Honey, they say the same thing about us...you can't win. My hubby always knows everything....can't tell him anything. Not that something is spelled wrong, not that something don't work like that, don't tell him how to do something on a car..that you know damn well you are right. It is just the way they are made... all knowing creatures!!

I think they are too afraid to say they dont know in case someone overhears them and discovers they arent as cool as they think they are.
Thats why women pretend they dont know things to make men feel superior
