nope. had "great sex" with ex, he cheated, i left, i dont think sex has as much to do with it as you assume it does

Great sex ought to be the outcome of a real loving relationship.
Great sex can help, but if it becomes the focus, then the other person is simply used and you become selfish. That is when it can become bad or even destructive sex.
If you want to have great sex on Saturday, you better start the romancing on Monday. Men are like a powder keg. Women are like a slow steady fire. Which do you really think makes the best sex...explode and it is over or slowly work into the experience that will last in your memories long after it is over?
Give me the slow fire anytime...and by the way, I am a male. My wife and I have great sex even when neither of us can climax. It is not the goal to achieve, but the journey getting there...and that is a wonderful lifetime.

False, thats a huge misconception. I watched a great show about that last night and they were interviewing alot of different couples who said that when they first started dating they were really into each other sexually but over time it faded away and no matter how hard they tried both partners couldn't get back to what they once had. If a couple fights alot and doesn't get along...then no amount of a good sex life can save them.

it takes far more then great sex to keep a couple in love. Great sex just keeps a couples bad relationship more tolerable

nah, I dont think so. In my opinion if something is going wrong in the relationship or there is a lot of fighting and misunderstanding - I dont think great sex will keep the relationship from falling apart. Great sex is a nice to have but not neccessary for a good relationship

There is more to a relationship than sex. Theres a difference between love and sex. You don't have to be a so called couple to have sex.
