Yes handing in your CV if you are newly registered with an agency can be to your advantage. It can help to build a repoire with the agency staff, as they often like to chat with you to get the measure of you. Also a good opportunity to make the right impression. That way the staff get to know you better and may remember you from that first meeting and hopefully you made the right impression and will recommend you as a suitable candidate for a job.

Once you have established a good repoire by all means email any subsequent CV's to them. In fact many agencies will periodically ask you to email them an updated CV.

I presume you will have your CV filed away on your computer so you will have no problem in eventually emailing your CV. Just try and find out what typeface and font these agencies prefer and you can adapt your CV to suit accordingly.

In person, it shows you have determination or something positive like that. Who knows, the employer might be the one to take it from you. It's a good first impression

Actually, it depends on the employer. If the employer is only accepting resumes by email, then you attach a cover letter with that. If you have to walk in, bring your cover letter with you as you drop off your resume

Most agencies will prefer CV's in electronic format as it makes it easier to store and scan for skills etc.

IMO the employment companies are there to place human beings in touch with jobs while those people who want the roles does not generally have the skill to renowned approximately those jobs. no longer all and sundry has cyber web get right of entry to or applications so those companies grant that to them.

i would say email it cause then they cant lose it can they if you know what i mean whenever you hand a form in to any place it always gets lost
