The parents

It can be either parent. Dad's tend to spoil girls and Mom's tend to spoil boys. It is all according to what your homelife is like. Then the grandparents put their two cents worth in and you could really have a spoiled rotten child. It can happen when parents divorce when the child is young and the parents are trying to make life easier for the child or trying to be the favorite. That can hurt a child later on in life. Once a parent, grandparent, or anybody else has given in to a child to the point that child is spoiled.I say it is all of the above and more that everyone is responsible for the child being spooiled even the child.

The parents are usually to blame but is the child is spending a lot of time with a sitter or other family member it could be their fault too. Discipline is needed for every child that's how they'll know you loved them when they grow up.

I dunno..I never ad the pleasure of being spoiled....

I used to get beat if I even smiled at my step dad the wrong way...

He was a tuff SOB...

and Mom was scared of him until she met someone bigger and badder than him...

But this new guy was very good to my two sisters and me...

We all ran off to California, then to Texas, then to Louisiana...

Then I joined he Army and lost track of him and Mom for years...

something must have happened cuz they were no longer together...but I did get a really cool gift out of it...

I got me a little Brother....

Now HIM..he's spoiled rotten...by Mom...

I would say the parents.
I am a parent of 1 teenager. and I do spoil her(gave her lots of things, and things she ever asked for.)
my child has no grandparents. only 1 but my dad lives far away
grandparents are allowed to "spoil" its their job lol.
but the parents can teach their child at home.
