If you had to chance to be immortal how many of you would say yes? I would love the chance myself, I find it all facinating and I have weighed up the pros and cons and I think the pros out weigh the cons. What are your thoughts? Would you do it?

Its been said that the reason Vampires can not go into sun light is because God will not allow such evil to come into the light. Im athiest but I thought that was an interesting thought.

if given the chance to be immortal,
i would welcome it w/ joy,
however, during the past few days
i have contemplated on this...
and i thought of the people i will
leave if this dream of mine would
come into reality. i will meet people
see them be born and die. but i still
remain....until the time allows...

Do I believe in them? Well, I do believe in a lot of things...and while vampires aren't one I would mention, enough cultures have otherwise unrelated stories about them that I figure there must be (or have been) some truth to them somewhere.

I think I'd be a vampire, if I had the choice and could turn a few select other people as well. I'd do what I wanted for a few thousand years, but I'd probably get tired of it eventually and meet the sunrise someday.

I believe in vampires, but not the immortal kind. Real vampires are technically human, but they have a need to feed on psi energy or blood.
If the immortal kind did exist, I might want to be one. It would be very interesting and there would be a lot of pros to it. However, it could get quite boring after a while and it could also mean a lonely life.

Well I think deep down inside we have an emotional need to die after a certain time. Just look at the movie highlander. When the last immortal is standing they are granted the gift of growing old and eventually to die.

So to answer you question it would probably not be a good idea in the long run. lol

No. I don't believe in them. If the universal rising IQ rate thing is true then no, I don't think I'd want to be immortal because it's no fun being an eternal dumbass. There are however, people who DO believe they are vamires. It's a form of "otherkin". (Who are a bunch of social retards who missed the bus for all the other lame subcultures and, got stuck with the only thing shittier than the metal scene.) I've only had one personal encounter with one of these people and, that was in a mental clinic. (Yeah, I've had to go there. So what? Social workers are a pain.) I had gotten into an argument with her over her so-called "magick" skills and, she threatened to shoot her psychic energy balls at my soul. :/

I believe in Vampires, just not the immortal type. There had been several in history, such as Vlad the Impaler, Jeffrey Dahmer (cannibel/vampire) and on and on. There are also cults in which drinking blood is part of what they do. So Vampires yes, immortal no.

NO there is not any vampires...it is just a story..but however there are stupid people who like the taste of blood..but do not worry about it..first of all you can not ever be an immortal..someday you are going grow old and die..just live with that fact and enjoy your life before it passes you by.

If vampires were real would I become one? No. I would have to prey on other sentient beings so I could live, I could only dance under the stars and never during the light of day. Sunrise instead of being one of the most beautiful parts of my day would be something to fear.

There are canibales and in some cultures, blood of animals is drunk as a symbol of manlyhood. There are also cults out there that make themselves in vampires by using the most modern plastic surgeary.

But I wouldn't become one. I mean life looses it's kick when you just keep on living. You don't have as much fun, because you have to be so bloody nice and social to all the other vampires, because they don't just die or move on... but i would if it meant that i could fly...

Well I actually believe in vampires, and I love them. But if I had a chance to be one I would have to say no, because I wouldn't want to live forever, and I wouldn't want to have to live offf of the blood of humans. I think it would be so awsome to have their powers though. But I would still say no.

Why not?

All these big mouths who love Georgie and Tony and little bootlicker Johnny must know that they show their belief in Vampires who are sucking the blood of the people with their war-mongering ways and living it up off the riches of the Earth while people who think they are middle-class and those who know they are sufferers all know that their blood is sucked daily by the Vampire World leaders who really know nothing but greed and evil.

So all these faithful Yahoo addicts who cheer for Georgie to kill more Muslims actually believe in Vampires and they know it.
