what do u think of rap/hip hop music ?

back in the day rap music was cool and different , but the last 3 yrs has just been full of trash.

Yeah, you're definitely right about rap music being full of trash but it's been going on a bit longer than three years...

The thing about it is that good rappers and Hip Hop artists exist (there are actually plenty of us) but as long as the listening public doesn't demand intelligent lyrics, interesting beats, originality, and consciously aware songwriting the trends won't change and we'll be forced to remain underground. Someone on here that it is all talentless, I don't let comments like that offend me. I just know that person hasn't been exposed to quality Hip Hop music and can only reference what he's heard...

Anyway, If anyone is interested in hearing good rap or Hip Hop music, they're going to have to search a little harder than cutting on the radio or MTV/BET...

Rap and hip hop are OK, i dont see any harm in them. But you cant really compare them with other songs

i think rap/ hippity hop/ gangsta wap.....all is talentless.......rap is about stealing music from great songs..........like kashmire by led zepplin and then put a rap lyric and sucky beats to a great song.........

plus rap is all about what a person has...they show off their money, cars, jewelry and a warehouse full of girls and drugs........who cares " whats yo gots".....hello everyone learns how to talk at the AGE OF 2...all rap is is talking..if i wanted to hear talking i would listen to talk radio
