5 year old Lyutuyik will be leaving Australia to start a new life in Alaska. Why did he/she/it make the news?

We think that Lyutuyik maybe an animal - perhaps a dog? Apparently the above appears in this news probably last week. We cannot find any reference on the internet. Thanks

Sounds like a whale, polar bear or some such. Google and wikipedia provide nothing. Are you sure you have a correct spelling?

Luytyik, a 5-year-old male bear on display at Sea World of Australia, is coming to the Alaska Zoo next week to live with Ahpun, an 8-year-old female. Luytyik will be on loan from Sea World in hopes the bears will breed.
