Myself, and most of the friends I know, waited until after our first trimester to share the news, because, as noted before, the risk of miscarriage is quite high in this stage. However, if you feel particularly close to one specific family member or friend, there is no set fast rule of when to tell. It's all in how you feel and who you want to share this beautiful news with. Right now, it's all about you, don't worry what other people think, if it turns out you told them and they wanted to know earlier. It's your decision, do what feels comfortable to you.

it is best to enjoy the beautiful secret untill your first trimester is over. 1st trimester is the most vulnerable period of your pregnancy in which risk for miscarriage is very high. so some couple prefer to keep their pregnancy to themselves untill they have had week 14 scan and prenatal exam for confirmation that theyre proceding with a healthy alive baby. before your 3rd month (depending on your physique) you wont be showing much belly either so your pregnancy can remain a sweet secret...and even if you show a little bit you can easily hide it with wearing loose clothes and pretending that youre gaining wait. ;)

goodluck!
