It is way too early to seriously start selecting prospective candidates for presidents. However, that said, the primary requirement for president is an understanding of the Constitution and the commitment to adhere to it. This is closely followed by the ability to work with Congress to achieve legislation that fits within Constitutional limitations. If these two goals are met, all else will fall into place.

Clearly the best individual to fit these requirements is Representative Ron Paul of Texas.

What we really need is a non-politician, who can represent the REAL interest of the country, but the way the government is structured, even if such a person should get in, he wouldn't be able to accomplish any of the goals that he sets out to accomplish.

Condi in my view, but I doubt she will run.

But honestly, I don't like any of these choices. Electing more of these lifelong politicians is not the way to get real traction in changing this nation for the better.

Any of the above that would serve America more than Israel or big oil corporations.

Note: We keep paying more for oil, we pay for the war, but the oil companies profits go up...
