Dude, he's a wizard, magical folk have never really been known to reproduce or otherwise come across sexual encounters. Kinda like a wise nomadic man, he is worried about others and never himself, so I really dont think that he is either gay nor straight, I think he honestly does not have the time

Gandalf -- the character, not the actor (Ian McKellan) isn't gay. In fact, he's asexual. The wizards of Middle Earth were all beings called Maiar who were so ancient that they were present at Middle Earth's creation. They are functionally equivalent to angels. Sauron was a fallen Maiar.
