It saddens me to see a girl 13 years old who doesn't know about sex. Your parents should have educated you about it. All you need to know if sex is something you need to stay away from until your older. Definitely sit down and have a talk with your mom about this when she comes home. For now, you might have to tell your father about your period if you don't have any maxipads or tampons in the house. Most likely your mother has some in the house though. Anyways, I would tell your father about it. Having your period isn't something to be ashamed of but means you are becoming a women.

Oh, my gosh...I'll stick to the bold-face question: No, the last time I checked I wasn't a girl.
But I think I was a girl in a past life, because I'm kinda effeminate in this life--that's why most of my friends are girls.
But please don't think I'm gay. There's a big difference between effeminate and gay. It just means that I do some things that most guys are too "macho" to do, like hold my hand up to my mouth when I'm laughing, stuff like that. But I am 100% percent straight; I like girls!
I'll let some of the girls answer your questions about periods and sexual intercourse.
I can just tell you this: Do not masturbate--(that's how you spell it, too, with a "u"). One thing I've learned in my meditation class is that we're not supposed to masturbate because it wastes our sexual energies. In women it's even worse, because it withers you--have you ever seen a withered flower? Well, that's what happens to a woman's body when she wastes her sexual energy. If you masturbate a lot, or have sex a lot without being married, you will age a lot faster and those of us who are keen to those energies will notice the fact that you do that just by looking in your eyes (you'll get bags under your eyes, etc.). I'm just a beginner in the meditation class, but I'm starting to feel people's energies.
If you don't believe me, take a look at the women who work in the adult film business--well, if you're old enough. What do you notice about their eyes? They look lost, don't they? Sure, to some people who don't care or can't see that, they just see the beauty of the girl's bodies--the breasts, the butt, etc., but they don't see the look of sadness or of being lost in those girls' eyes. And after a few years, they can't work in that business anymore because their body just gives up on them--they get "all used up." Why? Because they're just having all this meaningless sex for munny with guys they don't love. I know that's an extreme example, but I just want to drive the point home. I don't mean to scare you with that or compare you with those types of women. I just want you to respect your body.
So save your sexual energy until you are married. It's a lot healthier fory you, both physically and spiritually.
==============================
Ok, so now I find out you're a guy. Same thing. Do not masturbate or have sex until you're married. It'll age you and drain your sexual energy if you masturbate or have premarital (or any kind of extramarital) sex.

Firstly being a girl who has attended menarche you are going to have periods every month. So no need to be afraid about them. Secondly during your periods you are going to feel pain in your lower abdomen(tummy). Sexual intercourse is a topic you best discuss with your mother besides you are too young for sexual intercourse. Masturbation during periods can lead to infections and is not hygenic. Talk to your father no doubt he would be able to guide you and when your mom returns have a at lenght discussion with her.

Dont worry. Your first period could b very scary & painful. Get yourself a pack of sanitary pads & use them as instructed on the cover. Sex / intercourse can wait, u can get some books later on & your mom will tell u once shes back. About masturbation , theres really nothing about learning how to do it, so pls stop worrying about , it will come naturally to you.

Well, it's a shame your parents didn't speak to you sooner. Just cause you started getting your period doesn't mean you need to be out having sex. Your still young and developing.
Just make sure you have Maxi-pads and don't be imbarrassed but either call your mom or talk to your dad. Although haven't you had sex ed in school yet.

1. Better say it to your father, he will be very helpful to you. He might take you to any lady doctor where your problem of periods will be definetly solved.
2 sex ..!! you will come to know very soon no need to hurry, and
3. when you will know about sex then logically you will like to have sexual intercourse.

You seem to have a problem with knowing what 'sex' you are.
I just had a look at your profile, and your most recent question says that you are a 'boy'... Sorry to disappoint you, but boys don't have periods, so I guess you don't really have anything to worry about, do you!!!
