I've been to both coasts! Lived in New England for 21 yrs...Lived in Cali for 2...Now I am back in MA, for over 2 yrs....Sooo, where do you think I perfer? ;) Cali was great..but I am really into the 4 seasons! As for Atlantic and Pacific, I don't care for the ocean. Pacific was defintily cleaner! That's for sure. I find east coasters tend to keep it real, and how it is. West coast...a lot seem fake...
Over All....East Coast rocks my socks! It's wicked awesome ;)

Are you seriously trying to compare Florida to California?
Florida is a giant swamp filled with humidity, mosquitoes, and alligators. The only reason anybody ever went there was for dirt-cheap land (if you can even call it land.) Disney put their park there because they could buy a whole county so they could be sovereign! It won't even exist in another couple of decades when the Greenland ice shelf slides of into the ocean.
California contains 1/5 or the US population and even more of the money. If it wasn't part of the US, it would be the 12th largest economy in the world.
