I love flowers and have them all around my house, some in the ground and some in containers. I especially like hibiscus and buy about two plants every year and then bring them indoors when it gets cold (we live outside Chicago). They look pretty motley by the end of winter, but come back in late spring and look beautiful again. I get a good feeling from nurturing them and people always compliment me on them.
I love to plant flowers in the spring and watch them thrive - it gives me a feeling of "new beginnings" and makes me look forward to summer. By the time August rolls around, I get tired of having to water them every day, but......oh well.

I like flowers but prefer them natural. Uncut and in a pot.
