Infomercial's asking for money up front and not giving out information, I'd really be leary of that in a heart beat.
Home based-business programs on the net are not all scams. Some may be especially if they're asking for money up front right away. There are others that will have you look at a program or look at a website and then you're contacted. Like with my home-based business, you look at a site and fill out a form, and someone will call you with another site to look at so you can be sure this is something you might be interested in.
As far as "paying" for something..... almost all home-based business have a "start up fee". Some require yearly fees and some are just a one time fee and you're always in the business. The start up fees can be something small ($50-200) and some companies charge a lot up to several thousand dollars but you're getting your money's worth because you're getting products as well.
If you're really serious about looking for something, check this one out, it's a presentation that tells about the company, if you like what you see, you fill the form out and someone will get back in touch with you right away. You just never know what might be the one for you, you just have to shop around. But a lot of these people are right, some are scams and you need to be careful. Shop around, do research and check with the BBB (Better Business Bureau).

Good luck in finding that perfect opportunity for you!

This is just another in a long line of scams. It is basic Pyramid scheme, that is the reason they never tell you anything during the infomercial. If you are up late at night watching these be very careful there are a lot of tricky people trying to take your money.
There are a few that are true and give you some basic knowledge for Real Estate but even those are working off a scheme.

There are many opportunities for ppl to work online nowadays and earn some extra money, by making deir own websites, thru ebay, survey opportunities, proofreading and translation, Freelance writing, Data Entry and so on..
However, there are many scams operating on the net and one needs to be careful and not get scammed!
Some widely used resources for checking them are the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and the national fraud center (www.fraud.org).
These days, you can easily find out more about a company using the Internet in a few minutes. From a company's website, you can get details about its ownership, how old the company really is and feedback from the company's customers.
You can find more detailed information about a company at

I have. I agree it is a pyramid / MLM scheme. Basically you get part of the money offering these $35.00 setup fees. The product that they are selling besides that are vitamins. Allegedly the best ever made. It's like a $100.00 a bottle and what have you. So the more you sell and the more you get people to sell it, the more money you make and so on and so on and so...
Who's gonna spend a $100.00 dollars a bottle on multi-vitamins??? If you think alot of people will then please let me know where......I may do this myself... :) :) :)
Correction,,,,, it's about $50.00 a bottle for a 30 day supply

I know many wealthy people and not one ever said, "Hey, did I ever tell you that I got my wealth by stuffing envelopes a couple of days a week?"
If it were that easy then everyone would be doing it. Why would anyone bother with rush hour traffic and lousy bosses?!
