a cell has:
plasma membrane- it is the outer covering of the cell,it allows entry and exit of some materials in and out of the cell.
nucleus- it plays the central role in cellular reproduction.it is the main part of the cell.(red blood cells are the only cells which dont have nucleus).it contains the chromosomes, which contains DNA,which in turn contains genes.
cytoplasm- it is the liquid content inside the plasma membrane and contains the cell organelles which are the following:
mitochondria- it is the power house of the cell...it supplies the energy needed for carrying out chemical activities in the cell.
vacuoles-they are the storage sacs of the cell..it contains important substances in the plant cell such as- amino acids, sugars, some organic acids and proteins.
endoplasmic reticulum-it is divided into smooth ER and rough ER.the rough ER manufactures proteins.the smooth ER manufactures fat molecules or lipids.the ER mainly transports materials between the cytoplasm and the nucleus.
golgi apparatus- it's functions include-storage,modification and packaging of materials made in the ER.it also helps in the formation of lysosomes.
lysosomes-they are the waste disposal system of the cell.they break down old cell organelles and foreign materials such as bacteria because they have powerful digestive enzymes.
plastids(present only in plants)- there are 3 types:chloroplasts which contains the green pigment chlorophyll necessary for photosynthesis.second: chromoplasts..they are coloured plastids, third: leucoplasts..they are colourless plastids wich store starch, oils and protein granules.

hope it is informative.

A cell is the smallest part of any living thing. There are many parts of a cell. Each part of a cell completes a certain function for the cell. All cells include the following parts:

Cell Membrane - forms the outer boundary of the cell and allows only certain materials to move into or out of the cell

Cytoplasm - a gel-like material inside the cell; it contains water and nutrients for the cell

Nucleus - directs the activity of a cell; it contains chromosomes with the DNA

Nuclear Membrane - separates the nucleus from the cytoplasm

Endoplasmic Reticulum - moves materials around in the cell

Ribosomes - make protein for the cell

Golgi Bodies - are used for packaging and secreting of energy

Mitochondria - break down food and release energy to the cell

Lysosomes - are chemicals used to digest waste

Vacuoles - are storage areas for the cell

Some organelles are found only in Plant cells. These organelles are:

Cell Wall - provides structure to the plant cell

Chloroplasts - contain chlorophyll that is make food for the plant cell
