I know!!!

When I bought the Executions DVD, it was handed to me in a brown paper bag sort of under the counter!! All it was, was a documentary trying to show how we execute people today & in the past. It was trying to show that the ways are inhumain, but that kind of didn't come across when you think of some of the lifers today.

People have tried to associate horror books/videos.dvds as something only the sick buy - serial killers etc. Don't forget this is why kids are killing people - influence by horror - bullsh*t obviously, but never the less, it is what the public are being told.

Buy it on-line instead!! :-)

It may be that you ask for horror literature - try horror books. The former hints at strong aspirations for undeserved praise. Literature is an all-encompassing term, but the true adept of the written word assumes that it is applied to the highest standard. Unfortunately, prose in its highest form resides within the overly long and tedious. Clive Barker is a compromise, certainly aimed in the right direction, Stephen King has ability whilst the rest are pretty much blanket bombing - entertaining though.

Try asking for the erotica section, and compare their response...
Maybe you will find that horror is a lot less frowned upon than you think!!

Only mentally disturbed people read horror books, so I've heard. Regular people watch horror on film.
