Music of the 90's seems to carry more weight and artistic input while the screaming gender benders of the 00's seem to be copying each other in infinite ways. LOL

I quite agree with you that the '90s British scene was better than the present crop, but I'd go even further and separate the much better early-'90s from the mid-to-late-'90s Britpop era. The earlier phase inluded the brilliant first couple of albums by Blur and Suede and staggering works of genius by The La's, The Stone Roses, The Happy Mondays and Ride, to name just a few.

I agree with Soul Doctor, the music these days is just sound and rubbish voices put in a mixer. I prefer to listen to 80s 70s and 60s music with rhythm and good voices.

ohhhhh tricky i loved blur oasis pulp suede menswear they might be giants uggly kid joe oh those were the days but i also love artic monkeys scissor sisters black eyed peas, not keen on keane id go 90's youve twisted my arm.
