A single happening was/has been a gradual thing. Certain wisdoms have come to fruition and I have gradually come to realize that I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing by pursuing as many of my dreams as possible, and touching as many people as possible. These two things have created a fire within me that is hard to keep under control sometimes. I am in love with who I am and with my life, the people in it and the people I have yet to meet. The art has come back full force and I can't sleep for wanting to write and compose. Thank you for having an interest and helping me to realize my own self-evolvement. :-)

Not too recent but my mum fell down the stairs and was declared brain dead - we had to turn off the life support 2 days later. She was 42.
On the back of it i realised that at the grand old age of 22 i really hadn't done anything with my life.I hated my office job and so, with the support of my fantastic husband, i gave up work and went to university to complete a degree in psychology. I graduated in 2002, at winchester cathedral of all places and now I am an assistant psychologist at a termly school for autistic students. Having had my first beautiful little boy, I'm planning to pursue a career in occupational psychology in the future.
How do you justify a 42 year old mother dying before she ever got a chance to live a little for herself - you can't but you can make damn sure you don't waste the opportunity to make the most of your own life to make her proud.
She may not have lived to see my little boy but everytime I look at him, i see my mum.
Well......you did ask!!!
Good question!!

I travelleda distance of 700km in my car= from Lagos to Abuja to Minna [in Nigeria]. In Minna,i stayed in a hotel not too far from the palaces of two nigerian x military rulers.
To my chagrin, the son of one of the duo was arrested and the town went hella.
I started thinking how dangerous men can still display their feelings when they are really touched. As soldier, they have killed and maimed without emotion. I always thot their emotion is dead, but alas, they are human as well- they feel pain.
Second, my inlaw, a medical doctor. Was taking his mother to the hospital when she died on the way, He wept. I was supriseas well.

My son had to have surgery - quite a big operation actually. It all went well and he was back on the ward when one of the theatre staff came to look for me.
She told me that as they began to 'put him to sleep', he said ''if anything goes wrong, will you tell my mum that I love her very much. She makes my heart smile''.
It broke my heart but also made me very, very proud of my son - he is my inspiration
