If you have something specific in mind, remember what the person enjoyed and hold it there. If they enjoyed walking in the woods have a memorial picnic or whatever.Fill the occassion with laughter and children, celebrate their life, and accept their passing.

At most venue's but personally I think it's fitting to choose a place that had meaning to the departed.
