I think he's imcorrect, but only because I think Iran would invade and take over before the terrorists would be able to take control. Iran started shelling northern Iraq on August 18th, according to the New York Times.

VERY LIKELY - Iran's brand of fundamentalist Shiite muslims would love to spread its influence in predominantly Sunni Iraq. Look how the influence of Maronite Christians waned in Lebanon when Iran-Hizbollah crept into their politics. This will happen in Iraq if US-UK troops leave the country with an untested new Iraqi government and army.

Yes I believe they would. Many people in Iraq are truly thankful for our intervention (a fact that the media steadfastly refuses to publish) and the terrorists would love to regain power and punish them. People who say we are the terrorists and we are the suppressors have NO idea what they are talking about. The mass murders and torture that occurred under Hussein are inconceivable to us in the United States.

yup....the iraqi government and army are too weak to control Iraq for some time. If the US leaves IRAQ and Saddam in the hands of the Iraqis....well...then either...there will be a civil war and the terrorists will take over ....or during the civil war...the people will release Saddam....and he will take over...

I would tend to believe Bush.
In saying that, having all the terrorists congregate in Iraq wouldn't be such a bad thing.
I say we bring our men and women home and see what happens.

And here I thought Sadam Hussain was terrozing his people all along! No honey I don't even know why our troops are over there. We are the ones terrozing those inicent people. Actually Bush is. Technically this is all his fault if you ask me. I think he is only trying to finish what his father couldn't.
