What would happen if a siamese twin (who has not been separated from his twin) committed a crime that his twin could not stop him from committing? How would he be punished?

I mean, let's say one of the twins shot someone and that the other twin couldn't have done anything to stop him. Is there any way the murderer can be punished? They can hardly send the innocent twin to jail, can they?

Has some case like this ever come up? What do you think the judical system would do in such a case?

Very interesting question...however to my knowledge there has never been such a case.

I think going through life as a Siamese twin is punishment enough.

well how could the other twin not stop him/her? unless maybe the one who commited the crime had full control of the limbs.
very good question though.

both should go to jail-the other for conspiracy to the crime...the supposedly innocent could have run them both through a wall so that the crime wouldn't have happened in the first place.
