Yes, she does. If we defaced a stamp we can still go to prison.

She does not own every stamp in the country, but she inherited and maintains her Grandfather's stamp collection, which as another poster said is the world's largest. Some of them were exhibited in China a few years ago.
She doesn't use stamps herself. I once received a letter from the Queen's secretary and it was franked rather than stamped. They send out so much mail it is quicker to use a franking machine than using stamps.

this technique has been created to print a transport label (with postage) fairly than only a stamp. that's executed to create a uniform tackle format that's examine greater fairly by ability of the sorting machines. i do no longer understand of a fashion around this. you're able to insert each and each envelope for printing or placed money into some sheets of sticky paper.

No she doesn't. Although, she does get complimentary copies of all stamps from the Royal Mail, and she also possesses the largest and most valuable stamp collection on the planet.

The clue is in "Royal Mail". :) And a vaguely pointless piece of trivia is stamps can legally be used as currency. Just try finding a shop who believes you.

the post is still carried in the name of her majesty and to tamper with it in any way is still an offence.
just cos the picture is on their does not define ownership.
It is owned by the General Post Office who carry it under the name of the Royal Mail and i reckon they keep the profits away from the royal coffers

It's an act of treason to deface ANYTHING with the queen's face or seal on. Apparently!

Whatever I pay for, I own, queen or no queen. Your postal service probably pays her a royalty for using her picture.
