no not all artist crazy in fact they have a good view of life and a wonder full imagination they have wonder full thoughts and ideas they so romantic and stuff i just love artists and for sure you have an outstanding personality

Yes, we are.
But, hey, what's life without a little insanity, eh?
My mother used to say that artists come from a different plane of consciousness, one just slightly off from the one everyone else comes from. An existence where the top soil is just out of faze and everything underneath is exposed. So we see things others can't.
We can see the worms working their way through the dark rich soil of the earth, see the scars people so cleverly hide behind snide remarks and veiled insults, see the softness in an ol' ape's caring for a hurt child.
But I think everyone has this talent, this little bit of insanity.
Not just us artists.
Just, so many folks have been taught that insanity is a bad thing, a childish thing to be out grown and cast away like an old binkie.
That bad things happen when you laugh for no better reason than you just needed a laugh.
Or beaten down for not leaving behind such things as picking shapes out of the clouds or build little log cabins out of blades of grass.
Yea, we're a bit crazy!
Plan on getting more crazy as the time goes by.
And, if'n you all were smart, you'd go crazy too!

Artists are NOT crazy! (only if they eat the paint on their brushes (kidding))
They're a bit like computer geeks...they know what they know and they experience the world differently than most other people. It's kinda like Michael Jordan and basketball or Tiger and golf. Artists process information differently because the creative side of their brain is more developed than the logical/thinking side. So, when they're feeling creative and productive, they're often "in a zone" and do their best work. Imagine Tiger trying to be the singer for Super Nova--NOT! or Jordan a nuclear physicist....they are "wired" to be who and what they are and they do it well.
Concentrate on doing what you do well and don't worry about what everybody else thinks....you are always gonna be different.

According to my family they are. We are. There is four of us - 3 sisters and brother, all in arts at least as hobby (me). And we are so different than the rest of people around us that I usually prefer to remain silent when they (the rest of people) talk about life, religion, love... art as well, because I know from previous experiences that they will not understand me not even a bit.
But my best male fried is the same way we are (but artist as well), so there must be someone who can understand you.
I wouldn't say we are crazy. Just a bit twisted. (in good way, of course)

Absolutely not. The idea that artists are necessarily kind of damaged individuals, or that being an artist entails some kind of eccentricity, is a Romantic myth that the world would be better off without.

Yep!!! That is what makes us so special. Think about it, if we were all shy people working with maths and stuff like that, where would all the art come from? And if we were all sane, then all art would be little boring pictures with boring houses in it. Goodness!!! Can you imagine that. Everything would be Grey and boring!
