It's a love story about two people [tita & pedro] that want to be together, but because of tradition the youngest daughter must be caretaker to her parents & never marry. Instead her older sister is offered to her beau for marriage, by her overbearing mother. Tita in turn puts all of the passion she feels into her cooking and it affects everyone in some very magical ways. Great film!
