I have a couple of ex's I never got fully over but it does get easier with time. Everyone is different in how to get over an ex. Some need to seek revenge, some start dating again right away, some wallow in their own misery, and others spend time getting to know themselves better and learning to love themselves again. I hope that your choice is a positive one and the one that I suggest is the last. Take time to do things for yourself and by yourself. Get to know and love yourself before you enter back into another relationship. You don't want to carry too much baggage into a new relationship because it is pretty much destined to fail. Leo Buscaglia is a wonderful writer and he says you must first love yourself before you can truly love someone else. Live by this and you may just make yourself happy and not need someone to make you happy and then you can find you a true mate.

Ever heard the old saying "Nothing gets you over the old one like the new one will"??? My friend, that old adage couldnt be any more accurrate. When we sit around and sulk and throw ourselves pity parties, 99% of that behavior stems from the lack of something new and exciting to occupy our time, planning, and most importantly our idle thoughts with. Not to drop another old agage on you, but "idle hands are the devil's workshop" and self-induced misery is certainly one of the finer products available for retail sale to the public which is painstakingly hand created by the devil's workshop directly marketed to people who sit around idle and spend down time feeling sorry for themselves, for lack of a better and less animated analogy. So to make a long story short here..... stop being idle!!!! You need fresh ideas, fresh thoughts, fresh faces, and most importantly a fresh new scene of men to make yourself visibly available around. Moving forward and not sitting "idle" is the key here to keep your mind occupied with positive thought and more importantly, putting the negative thinking behind you. I know nothing of the situation of with you're coming from nor what it is that your looking for down the line, but the rules Ive mentioned apply to all walks of life and all situations, no matter how good or bad of a situation it may have been at one time. Keep on trucking girl! Feel free to contact me if I can be of further assistance in the future. Its my pleasure to help a stranger every now and then. Good luck. SMILE!

Oh my, heartbreak.
Friends and activities, find new places to go to keep you from dwelling on fond memories. Pack away or throw away pictures or things that would bring back a memory.
It's going to take a while........
