Yes. I have fiinally come to realize that Bush is one of the greatest patriots America has ever had, that he did not profit personally from the Iraq war nor from emptying the Treasury, lowering taxes on the rich -- it was friends of his Dad.
I think America should be a One-Party State and that George W. Bush should be its President-for-Life. Or if not that, Jeb should be appointed President by the Supreme Court, followed by all the Bush children, one after the other.
I've been researching Halliburton and the Carlyle Group -- and I've come to the conclusion that that's where the Real Patriots are.
From the skeptical tone of your question I think you are probably a Commie, a Gay or Thespian, or Worse!

My point of view concerning Bush hasn't changed, but seeing people go to such extremes of polarization has given me a much deeper vision of how war occurs. Also, the exchanges between fundamentalist Christians and Atheists/Agnostics. Rage promotes rage to levels that approach the homicidal. I hope that seeing this will move me to have greater tolerance and empathy for those who are on the other side.

No,
I still wish the leaders would fight the wars with their troops like in the old days. It's great to know he's a patriot but fishing, taking vacations, and relaxing at his ranch while we're out here dealing with danger and these insurgents doesn't speak very highly of him within the soldiers who are actually fighting the war out here. It's nice to know he's considered a "patriot" but is he really? or is it the kids who are actually out here dying to make a decent paycheck and endagering their lives for what cause? so people can sit at home in their AC cooled home and complain about how the war isn't so bad??....... I love my country and i will defend it till my last dying breath, but can someone tell me what we're doing out here?? sure as hell my leaders can't.

Got to realize he is a far worse humanbeing than i had realized he was in this far away land. I am proud of those who are resisting fascism in USA and i give my heart to them for standing up against tyranny. As long as the world has vibrant people like you, we have a chance that one day we will actually see a free world without bloodshed. So i believe deep in my heart.

No, not likely that many will either. Most of the questions posed are nothing more than hate mail. All that does is get the other side pissed off and they jump to defend their idea or party. Not exactly meaningful dialog.
