i have suffered from dry eyes since 6 years and its getting worse. i use artificial eye drops and take omega 3 fish oil capsules. is there any thing else i can use?

I also have dry eyes, and my eye doctor told me to use a drop called "Systane". It is made just for dry eyes, and you don't need a prescription for it.

There is no cure but there are other things that could help. Have you seen your eye doctor about this? Have you ever discussed punctal plugs?
Punctal plugs essentially "plug" the hole your tears drain out of, helping you keep your tears longer. It does not help all dry eye but is an option for some patients. It's an easy process where the plug is really just sat and tapped down into your punctum (it that sounds painful, it's not, trust me - we had to do it to each other). The first plug is a test plug that disinegrates in about a week - it is used to see if putting in permanent ones will be beneficial.
Restasis seems to be popular - I haven't had much experience with it yet though so I can't give you more info other than to discuss it with your doctor.
There are new things constantly coming out to help dry eye because it seems to be getting to be a really big issue - so try to keep up to date on new potential treatments, what works for one person does not always work for everyone. Also keep in touch with your eye doctor and keep them up to date on how your eyes are feeling.

dont mess with your eyes......you could use dry eye drops. Just go to your pharmacy and ask them, they'll give you what you need.
