For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal.
However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed .
It will slow down the digestion.

Once this "sludge" reacted with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food.
It will line the intestine.

Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer.
It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal

no, that's entirely bunk.

your body is so warm and there's so much of it compared to the food or drink that you are consuming, that the cold water will have no effect on your digestion. your body will warm the water up.

Nooo! It's totally unscientific.
There is some enzymes (Lipase) at the small intestine that helps break down fats into smaller and simpler substances! They wont magically line your stomach. Haha. Don't worry. :)

No. Since water aqueous in nature better if taken after about half an hour of taking food.

that's thoroughly fake. i will spare you the biochemistry of ways your physique works, and the actuality that tests and scans of intestines do no longer locate them "lined" with solidified food (those are no longer steel pipes). yet i will factor out which you're claiming that the so-called sludge would be absorbed swifter via the gut, yet will line the gut. it rather is thoroughly contradictory. Do they solidify and line the gut, or do they get absorbed? the actual answer is neither, yet even without going to medical college, you may know that it may't be the two.

hey! whose been feeding you this bunkum? so not true! our internal temperature is high enough and always constant so that when we drink cold water and it slides down our throat, by the time it gets to your stomach it's warm. so there's no chance of "sludge". jeez. whoever told you this has to be talking balls, bullcrap and poppycock.
