Yes you can.

It is a recognised fact that it takes 21 days to form a habit, but you need to be disciplined and ensure that you follow your new habit for each of those 21 days. You will then achieve what is known as "habitual response", like tying your shoe laces or putting your seatbelt on when you get into the car. It's not something you think about - you just do it.

Just like when you put on a pair of trousers - you always put the same leg in first because that's what you've always done. It's a habit!

Yes. Human can change his/her habits of long time.

There was a study made few years ago. On an average it takes three to seven days only to form bad habits. eg. getting up late because you are on vacation. Say normally you are up at 4 am. On vacation you will get up at same time 4 am, but you decide not to get out of the bad and stay in bad until 8.00am. After about seven days you will not get up at 4.00 am, you will get up at 8.00 am. Getting up late is lot easy to achieve then getting up early for most of the people.

On the other hand say 21 days vacation is over, you need to wake up at 4.00 am again, and you may need two alarms and some one to drag you out of the bad at 4.00 am.

It will take most people at least 21 days to get in to habit of getting up at 4.00 am.

Each person is deferent each habit is deferent.
