They make ones you can wear for a year. The cost depends on many different things like if you want color or just perscription. If you want perscription your inscurance should pay for them. Just color ones are like 99 dollars, but it's better if you just go to your eye doctor and ask him/her. You also should ask your eye doctor if year long contacts are right for you, they don't work on some people like me.

yes...contact that last you a year is called hard lens...it need weekly cleaning and remove of proteins...those monthly ones are soft lens...which is disposable and you jus need normal cleaning everyday and discard after a month...there is also weekly or daily soft lens...normally... for a 2yrs hard lens cost round S$200+...as for disposable lens is round S$15/pair for monthly...
