This summer racing style is all about being a proper lady! Go for fittled skirts or a dress like the Roland Mouret Galaxy dress that many celebrities have been wearing, loads of shops have a similar one at the moment. Wear with high heels, elegant jewlery and a hat/hair slide. Too many people go for "look at me" outfits and they never win, the key to winning best dressed is to dress like a real lady, as it is real ladies who attend race days. Elegance is the key my dear!

As most important TB events/meets are over, if you stated the state i could have advised better, just remember the trend is gong retro . best accessories: a blue/white ( mid80's) or brown/green biege with the red stripe Gucci bag (late 70's) a discreet nod to when Gucci was prominent to the horsey set. Also ,Hermes, but so obviously trying to the initiated. Try a toggle link thick gold bracelet. And of course nix the white gloves, this is the USA. Dress as to a garden/afternoon tea party.
