the other day I got a whiff of a musky cologne and I felt transported 10 years back to college when one of my friends wore this fragrance all the time, he had an accident and is still in recovery after all these years.

I'm sorry about your friend but to answer your question, yes, something I'll smell in the air or in the most random places have taken me back. Smells in autumn have taken me back to my childhood, some other fragrances take me back to my grandparents or my grandfather. Some the weirdest things, but yeah, I totally know what you mean.

yes it does, and for most of my experience, it's usually the good stuff and memories that I tend to associate with fragrances. The bad ones? I can hardly remember any fragrance that would connect me to that instance.

yes.Iam always taken back to a bad time when my father molested me as a kid.He would wear this cologne and today even if I see other products made by that company I get a weird feeling/flashback.And he used plain flavored chapstick in the black tube .When I see one I really get the creeps. The smell of it makes me sick and a little afraid.

actual, the scent of grass and airborne dirt and dust exterior jogs my memory of my 2 canines that died approximately 12 years in the past. whilst i became into little I continuously went exterior and performed with them. i might spin around in circles, get dizzy and fall into the grass. My nostril may well be crammed with the fragrance of moist airborne dirt and dust and grass and my canines might come over and lick my face and that i might snicker and hug them and chase them. Sigh, that memory is in basic terms as sparkling as ever. It appears like it became into in basic terms the day previously at present. I omit them so freakin lots. the place DID the time bypass? :(

My Mom always chewed Wrigley's Spearmint gum. Even her London Fog coat smelled like it. So when I smell it now, it reminds me of her.
