both are great games........... Soccer is high energy and can be fit into our fast lives.... you can finish a game in 2 hrs!
Cricket is a bit longer I prefer the one dayers..... and yes it is a game of leisure and you need to have time to play it. It is not a wham, bam thank you sam kind of game. Get your sunscreen get a feww beers and enjoy the sunday...... what agame to play or watch!!!

I don't hate cricket but it takes to long - maybe I would go to a one day game

Soccer takes little equipment, can be played anywhere, excellent fitness, constant running. Cricket takes a pitch, equipment, much standing around.
