If yes what is it like there?I hear it is pretty.

It is a very pretty city. I lived there for 32 years. I had to move because my father in law was having health issues. I go there every couple of months to visit my family. I do still live in Colorado. There is the Garden of the Gods, several pretty parks. There is all 4 seasons. Every year there is the little britches rodeo. There is lots to do and see. Yes, it is very pretty. It's at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Some tourist attractions: Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Olympic Training Center, lots more. Several military bases in town. It's about 1000 feet higher than Denver in altitude (~6000 feet). I grew up there but since then it's started to have some growing pains (traffic, sprawl). Most days are sunny, in the summer afternoons there is usually a thunderstorm. Hope this helps...

I'm from one of the other "springs"; visit Steamboat Springs. It's beautiful there, you're not tainted by the city.
