That all depends on a few things, like what is the lie about, ie; do i look fat in these pants? or an are you cheating on me type of lie? etc. Little white lies such as the first one is okay if it means your not going to hurt that persons feelings (as long as they don't look really really bad on). But the kind that is deceptive are just no good. And they do it for numerous reasons, but i feel mostly it has to do with how they were raised and there personality. And finally no it's not hard to tell the truth however sometimes it means having to admit that you screwed up or are not perfect and that can make it more difficult to do.

Certain truths can be extremely hurtful if the person you are lying to can't accept the truth. Sometimes lies are told to avoid punishment and to gain recognition. Most people do not like to face the truth. In such instances, it is difficult to tell the truth.

No,telling the truth is never easy since on average it's destructive more than constructive so one fears of the worst case scenario of losing the person eventually and with that fact in mind,one doesn't dare risk that and just land the plane in another airport if needed be.

Truth always hurt but it is not a reason to lie esp. if you cares a lot to that person. It is just a matter of how you tell it or the way you tell it so as not to hurt their feelings.

Honestly i don't know.I've been through a lot of bad times in my life but ive always been telling the truth.It can be very hard when small & innocent lies grows into big ones.To please someone is to remain who we are.For those who are not satisfied,they are the ones who must go away or come to a compromise on both sides.
Well that's the world we're living in..

Some people don't want to hear the truth. Some people don't like confrontations. It's easier to lie because you're telling the person what they want to hear.

people lie because they think that they are not good enough 4 other people e.g when girls talk to guys ,guys find a way to be all that e.g a surfer or a guy drives a car which is a cool car like a comfortable which has a cool colcour like black

it's not exactly 'hard' to tell the truth.
it depends on the situation.
people who lie to cover their own asses are anything but right.
but those who lie because they believe that they're saving someone from pain and have nothing to gain from lying are not bad people.
they might be taking the wrong approach, but they don't have any ill intents in lying.
so don't be angry with whoever you're angry with if they're not trying to cover their own ***...
but if they are... egh. they can go screw themself.
