The best remedy when you are angry is, dont react to the source of anger immediately ,count 123 and take a deep breath and leave the place and deal with the situation afterwards when you have cooled down by the collar.

Give yourself time to cool down. Do whatever suits you. It could shouting at the top of your voice someplace away from others; doing something interesting; going someplace quiet; go to the seaside to look at the waves or tell someone your frustration and anger..
While you are alone, reflect on your anger. Why are you angry? Are you aware that anger is an emotion which is well within yourself? What's the cause of your anger? Is it necessary to be angry? What will happen if you are not angry?

Walk away from the situation and get some exercise. Don't get on the computer and send angry e-mails to people. That is a real turnoff and you can't take it back later.

A walk always helps me. I don't know whether it is the fresh air or the exercise, but it does help.

But if you are in a situation where you can't leave, try to respond instead of react. Don't react to the other persons emotions or words. Respond to the situation or question or whatever it is. This is hard to do, but it does work.

A hammer, a circular saw, a roll of duct tape, 2 10' sections of pvc pipe, a bag of concrete and a tarp. Then the source of your anger.

"a moment of anger could be alifetime of sorrow." - just try finding a diversion for your anger, like eating your favorite dessert, no matter how many calories it may contain. You deserve a treat because you're mad! =)
