What do you think of colored contacts?

Are they scary; ugly; pretty, etc...

I am a brunette with brown eyes and I am considering trying some, as I already wear clear contacts for myopia.

If you have natural brown eyes, it is often difficult to get colored contacts that have a natural look to them. My mom has dark brown eyes and when she tried blue and green ones, they barely changed the color of her eyes. I've tried just about every color imaginable. I have green eyes naturally, and I found that some of the colored contacts looked ridiculous, while others very natural. I would suggest you give them a try. The worst thing that happens is that you don't like them. Many optometrists will give you a sample colored contact (just one) to see how they look in the office.

Now this is tricky. At the end of the day... it comes down to how u feel and what u like. But let's be realistic... I've heard LOTS of negative feedback about color contacts on girls because guys say its misleading. I say.... if ur that shallow to date someone because of their eye color, then u deserved to be lied to. Color contacts do light up your face and give new flare but it doesn't last long. Plus as noted before, anyone looking extra hard for a prolong time isn't thinking about how it lights up your face anymore but rather how to light you up! lol

I think they look fake...since they are. But, hey, I have pretty cool-looking eyes naturally so I may be biased. After all, I do color my hair. So it's just a personal choice. Just make sure they aren't a really unnatural-looking color. You don't want to look scary. Weird hair is one thing...but eyes are the window to the soul...so they say, and people communicate a lot of emotions with them. You don't want to creep people out.

Colored contacts are weird and uncanny. They are however offering a different look! but it depends on ur style u see everybody has different genres of styles esp. on eye contacts, for me i like gold eye contacts is it available? its gonna be great when your eyes are gold in color...after that ill be an antagonist of james bond naming the fil: Bond 007: The Revenge of the Golden Eyed.

Could work, the only way is to try them out. And hey - their a reasonable price these days so if it doesn't work out, then no blood lost.
Some are very fun and interesting but I think get one that looks natural.

They can be sexy I want to buy some coloured ones soon. Depends on the colour if they fit you don'y try to go into the spotlights coz you might get the ther effect. Wishining you to look a sexy with it.

hey you already wear them and they didnt cause any eye side effect so you can wear in colour too.my friend is brunette too she has brown eyes but uses blue they totally go on her

I have brown eyes and wear gray contacts. It goes well with my complexion and looks nice. It just depends on what you get.

they are nice...i love the black ones...tried the black...brown...grey and violet...black one make the pupils look bigger...giving a doll effect...brown one look normal on brown eyes jus a little lighter...grey one emphasize the brown pupil...nice effect....violet look pretty nature with brown eyes and from far you cant tell is violet...only close up you will realised it's colour...so those i highly recommend you to try ... i'm gonna try the blue one on my brown eyes next...=)
