I don't have a dual personality. I only have one. Dual personalities are totally separate personalities with the each personality not knowing about the other. What you are talking about a different part of our personality that we show others at different times.

I think we naturally behave differently according to different situations. Dual personality or multiple personality...not really. Who you are at work and who you are at home, is, still you, or part of you. How you act only reveals the flexibility and depth of your character, even when you're just trying to fake it.

Agree until I hit about 40 years old. I have earned my opinion with age....and just let er rip. But that is not too bad; I am pretty good at home anyways. But why waste energy keeping up appearances at work.

I would say multiple personalities, different ones for each group we belong to, family, friends, co-workers, etc.
I took a pessimist/optimist test a few years ago and scored 52% optimist and 48% pessimist. The people I carpooled with thought I was MUCH more pessimistic, and my coworkers saw me as much more optimistic.
