Davey Crocket was killed at the battle of the Alamo. So apart from it being a Mexican soldier, the actual person is unknown

Legend has it that Crockett went down fighting inside the Alamo compound, but actual evidence that has come to light since 1955 (the diary of José Enrique de la Peña) indicates that there may have been a half dozen or so survivors, with Crockett perhaps among them. The prisoners were taken by Mexican General Manuel Fernández Castrillón after the battle and summarily executed by order of Mexican General and President Antonio López de Santa Anna.

Crockett died defending the Alamo against Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana on Feb 23 1836. He died with Jim Bowie, William Travis, and less than 200 others fighting against over 2000 Mexican soldiers.

Hi,,, former congressman from the state of Tennessee,, David Crockett died at the hands of the Mexican Army under Gen Lopez de Santa Anna,, while defending the Alamo in San Antonio on Feb 12th(?) 1836..... he died along with and not including around 180 to 250 estimated other men...

I am sure it was at the alamo.......get the DVD of The Alamo starring John Wayne and watch to see if you can spot who actually kills Davy Crockett.....you can't miss him he is the one with the dead cat on his hat ......tail hanging down

Crockett was "Taken under Arms" following the collapse of the defence of the Alamo. Following interrogation and torture he was summarily executed.
