scissors have a beveled end like a knife and shears have 90 degree corners so it shears off the material.

Nothing really, shears is just a nicer way to say scissors... and probably an excuse to sell them to you for more $$$

shears are for LARGE projects...like whole sheep...scissors are best for "small" projects...like nostril hairs....
