What? There's hardly any sport on terrestial TV these days. I have to pay for Sky Sports - and even then it only covers a tiny fraction of what there should be! You can't watch that many football matches, it's nigh on impossible to get any live American events, except for major games, athletics coverage is scanty, European basketball is practically non-existent and martial arts barely feature at all.

I would never watch TV if I only had the terrestrial channels - soaps, house decorating and f8cking Trisha!!! As for that Big Brother abomination - what is that all about? A bunch of sad acts in a house for months on end - are people that desperate?

There should be more sport on TV. You don't even get much snooker these days - and that's boring anyway. I guess they figure us sports fans don't spend so much time watching telly...

Maybe if you got your lardy butt off the sofa and actually played some sport now and then, it wouldn't seem so bad for you.

You're penalised? At any given point you have 70-90 channels available to you and maybe 3 or 4 of them have sport. If you keep clicking over to those 3 or 4, maybe you are a closet heterosexual. Turn on "Queer Guy" or HGTV or Fox News or CNN or Discovery or A&E (must I go on.....?) Quit whining when you're winning.

Whoa!! You hit something with that one. I don't know about the UK but I find that T.V. is what you make it. If you don't like sports then watch a different channel. If sports is ALL you get, then turn off the T.V. and go do what you like with people you like as long as it is legal. Cool. Yes no?
