1) Unplanned and wrongly planned population increase 2) More unskilled than skilled labor 3) Skill and merit compromised on caste gender and religious basis 4) Widely prevalent corruption. 5) The unplanned transition from socialism to free market economy and 6) And dire poverty.

India is not suffering from unemployment.but the efficiency of labour is low because of hot and enervating climate ,comparitively poor wages,workers habits and religious superstitions etc
