coz the rain water's level in the sea has increased due 2 the recent high floods in that area resulting in the decrease of the salt level in the sea water.but it is inheiginic also coz it has carried all the city wastes all the way 2 the sea. so if u wanna drink that water ur sure2 get a bed booked at a nearby hospital.ha ha !!

it is because of the heavy rain this year. the pure water has a little taste of sugar. you know that it is flodded so many places this year. So, large amount of river water came in to the sea this year. it happens all the year rainy season. but this year it was too much water.
The fresh water has less density than the salt water. so the fresh water will be in the top layer of sea. This is the secret.
Another funny or may be real answer: a boat with sugar may sink in this area or somebody despatch the waste sugar in the sea.

it happens once in a long decade. it rained heavily this year in many parts of the west coast. during low tide in the sea this accumulated rain water was drained back in the sea and the saline water and the fresh river water does'nt mix well bcoz of low tide. due to this the there existed a difference in density that caused the fresh water to accumulate on the coast.

rain water poured heavily into the sea.it made the seawater ,which stayed over the original seawater.and made the sea water less salty.may be some sweet chemicals in very large quantity falled in that are and made the water sweet.

Due to the release of minerals under water.
Have you tasted real mineral water before? (I am not talking about the bottled water you get at 7-11) It is sweet.
The sea turn sweet because of large about of mineral released underwater. However, whether these minerals there are good or toxic remains unknown, so dun try to rush there to drink it ya?
