Yes. And if the US did not give them money and weapons they would not be so eager to kill other people, nor would they have the ability.

Your question was slanted so that we all know you think it was a great thing for them to do. Israel has just as many terrorist per capita as any other group over there.

They are terribly wrong..That self defense plot is totaly a hoax!

The thing is our media doesnt show the whole picture..Ill try to be objective here:

1- Isreal has an army a well trained and a well equipped one,It has nuclear bombs and can use it anytime it takes permission from the US..On the other hand HezbAllah are only a couple of hundereds militiants they are self-trained.. meaning they follow no army obviously..They own only a few missles..They have NO fighing planes..NONE and neither does the lebanese army itself..

2-Israel always tries to have a coverup for what its doing even if its a joke..any written reason for going into war..Using "common sense" does anyone actually believes that israel killed civilians just to get 2 israeli soliders? i mean com'on

3- If it is self defense.. why does it target civilans? why does it destroy homes, kill children , and scatter families..HOMELESS are people there.. This isnt war against terrorisim this is a war against humanity..

4- How do we know that HezbAllah are actually terrorists? maybe they are just defending lebanse soil..If it was actually terrorist organization shouldnt they have targeted civilians (at least like israel did) all they killed were normal casualties of war..soliders..and only a few of them.. There are 2 logical conclusions : Hezb Allah are not strong enough.. then the case of self-defense is a bluff becuase simply HezbAllah are not a threat, the other conclusion is that Hezb Allah fights fairly..They are not blood-thirsty humans as the media tries to image them..

4- bombing lebanon for hosting terrorists? just bomb the terrorists !!

5- did Hezb Allah actually enter Israel? or was it just on the borders? Hezb Allah remained on lebanses soil..to defend it.. They didnt ATTACK israel..It was israel that invaded towards the south of lebanon..Thats pretty offensive not defensive..one could argue that "the best defense is a good offense" well it so when the war sides are balanced..and i would argue by "defending ur land is NOT terrorisim"

6-How does Israel justify killing civilians? I dont get it ? why kill civilans ?They really made a huge damage up there..and all for the casue of self-defense..how on earth is killing the defendless is self-defense?

In my mind, anyone involved in anything which kills people is wrong.
However, I know that many violent war-mongering people, like presidents and prime ministers do not agree with me, so we have to look at the degree of right or wrong.

Israel is a state with advanced weapons, including 300 nuclear warheads, and has attacked Lebanon many times in the past, has kidnapped hundreds of Lebanese citizens who are still in Israeli prisons even now, has the support of the Zionist owned media, and is supplied and supported by the USA.

The Zionist propaganda which enters everyone's house everyday, indicates that Hezbollah is a terrorist organisation, and places all the blame on Hezbollah.

Hezbollah is not a terrorist organisation. It has legitimately elected members of the Lebanese parliament. Israel has kidnapped a sizable portion of the Lebanese government - a war crime.
There is considerable doubt as to the location of the two Israeli soldiers who were purportedly kidnapped by Hezbollah, and used as the excuse to start this latest conflagration. If it is true, as some say, that these soldiers were on Lebanese territory, then there is no reason at all for any reprisals by Israel.

The second excuse used by Israel is that Hezbollah are firing rockets and killing citizens. Israel have killed more than ten civilian citizens for every non-civilian. Hezbollah have killed less civilians than military.

But, we know that the biggest terrorists, after the USA and UK, are in fact Israel. so if it is right to bomb countries which house terrorists, then it is right for Iran to bomb America. The American government started the war on terror by demolishing the twin towers on 9/11, and they have been terrorizing the world ever since.

We all know Israeli intentions. Do you call destroying a whole country self-defense? And what for? The capture of two Israeli soldiers as they claim? Do you really think that this war is for the sake of the 2 soldiers? What about the cold-blooded murdering of the Lebanese kids? Come on, it's so clear that Israel's decision to bomb Lebanon was a result of stupid Israleli political decision.

It became about time that Israel did something about the cowardly attacks that were being made adversarial to them through those terrorist communities. Ever because that Israel became depending their neighboors and the diverse muslim fundamentalist communities in the middle east have attacked and burdened them non-end. The violence will end once the muslim international places and terror organizations supply up their racist attitudes in direction of Israel and settle for that they have got each precise to be there and to be loose from violence. To the positioned up that reported that the Israels basically moved into Palestinian territory and took over, you're incorrect. Jews have lived in that element of the international for hundreds of years why do you imagine that the UN chosen that section to be the hot state of Israel? in case you want to be fairly technical about it what the Palistinians want from Israel is something that they by no skill had in the first position, it quite is a Palestinian state. the way they're going about that is of direction counter-effective because it really is absurd to imagine that through killing harmless human beings Israel will enable them have their own united states.

I think when ideologies clash adding to the mix is a bad plan.

This conflict goes back way before our time, and way beyond our understanding. We need to face the fact that we have no clue in this, and therefore quietly withdraw and do what we Can to protect our own borders.

We so far...........really suck at this.

And W has suddenly been seen with existentialist books in tow.

This intellectually challenged man is now trying to rationalize his actions in retrospect. It isn't a good sign that he needs Existentialists to help him with this.

Our troops are actual people he has placed ground zero in a Clash of Ideologies, none of witch he knows anthing about.

Congress as it stands is one Weak Sister.

This clueless yuppie draft dodger has completely mangled diplomacy and seems bent on investing in the mangling process.

In my mind it is time for the American Voter to stand up and be heard.

We want DEMOCRACY back, his attempt to distort and subvert Democracy is obvious. So are the solutions.

Stop Lobbies from buying our Reps.

Meaningful Campaign Finance Reform should be a ballot ISSUE.

Be loud, be proliffic.

Participate in Democracy before it is lost.

Or shut the hell up......and be meat.

No. Bombing terrorsts, hosts of terrorists, countries funding or supplying terrorists, sympathetic with terrorists is a good idea.

Nope. Israel's actions were clearly self-defense caused by Lebanon's decision to honey up to terrorists instead of disarming them.

I think Israel was wrong for trying to pretend the whole thing had to do with two kidnapped soldiers. You'll notice no one talks about that anymore. What's wrong is they bombed the **** out of a poor nation in residential areas and then tried to blame the fact Hezbollah was hiding there. When your enemy does that you send in ground troops for precision combat, not drop bombs in hopes of hitting your target.
