"First Response" detects pregnancy 5 days before a missed period. So, probably. But I'd take two just to be sure.

if you said 9 days past and ur starting to spot...TAKE A TEST!! I just had the same thing with 3 days of spotting i got a CVS early brand test today and found out i was. The test was $10.99 for a 2 pack..i would get that one just incase ur not u will have an extra for next time! The single test is like $7.99
Like i said i just did the smae thing about 4 hours ago and BINGO...i was pregnant!

Yes. Just make sure to follow the directions carefully. Take it as early in the morning as possible. Make sure not to take it after drinking a lot of liquids because your result will be diluted.

If you're starting to spot, odds are you're not pregnant. There's no reason why the test shouldn't work. The hormone that you're body produces when you are pregnant will be present regardless.

There is only one way to find out--take it and see what happens. Just because you are spotting doesn't necessarily mean you have your period. Good luck to you!
