In many respects, I do. But I also feel that it's made a whole bunch of already dumb people, taken them....and launched them into the stupidsphere.
I also have reason to believe that our children will have no social lives, will have poor, actual person to person (as in, real life) people skills, and won't be able to properly function without a laptop/desktop. Yeah....all that and I'm 20.....plus a bag of chips.

The 'Net increased the wealth of information and mis-information. Somewhat ignoring the more temporary nature of mis-information, there is likely more informed information from which we do actual learning.
This question aids the concept of the technology divide. Yes it enables the intelligent to become more intelligent, and well read. An has the capacity to help the naive with Internet access fill their minds with junk.
The Internet has enabled greater communication between the intelligentsia; which will filter through to the society of the world.
Personally I believe I have learned a great many things in over a decade of Internet research.

we ll it s both yes and no i will start with yes becuase it help you find out infromation about something and help you look for jobs. and keep in contact with someone. but the dangerous part is you have to watch out for viruses, spam, firewalls, fruad and etc. If you have a security software you most likely safe. but if you don t have it my advice for you don t download no pronos unwanted e mail you don t download program you not sure becuase they contains viruses and your computer will act very slow and it won t work probably and also destroy your personal files or data. The chatroom is safe along you don t meet no one in person that the dangerous part. and never give out ya personal infromation like where you live, phone number, ya full name and ya password remember no company will never ask for ya password. When you have kids monitor what they doing and also you must block the website when you leave certain websites contain like pronos A internet also good becuase you don t get bored and you could play games.

Yes, it makes a wide variety of information easily accessible. Can you imagine how many books it would take to include all of the Internets information????? Wow! I love to read, but where would I keep them all? I already have more books than walls. Good question. Peace.

If you believe that intelligence is measured not so much in whether you know the answer or not---but rather in knowing where to find the answer----yes.
That said, however, there is so much garbage on the internet that you have to be fairly intelligent to sort through it.
