How to back up stories on the sims 2??

Question

now, i make my stories on the lot album (not neighborhood), then package it from there. but how do i make a sequel to the other story on the same lot?? because when i try to change it, i edit the original. and i dont want to change the original. do i have to go to another lot to package it or something?? i want answers (not many ppl answer questions about the sims 2), so plz answer. thnx and blessed be, Val

Yeah, i think it's stupid and they should fix this, but you have to move to a different lot to write a sequel without just adding to the story you already made =\
