which is better, the movie or the book?

I have read the book and seen the movie. The book is hands down the better as this chick lit was a non-stop page-turner for me. I do respect Meryl Streep for her past movie accolades, and Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway did turn in acceptable performances in the film, BUT the book is better...no doubt!

It was good seeing Supermodel Gisele Bundchen acting and the promotional poster for the movie is certainly creative. The movie is worth seeing (especially if you like high fashion) and was good enough.

Never read the book, so I can't comment on that. The movie though, wasn't very good apart from a great performance of Meryl Streep as the bitchy boss, I didn't really see the ending coming, and I HAVE watched tons of films. Anne Hathaway is ugly.

The Book but the people who acted in the movie did a good job portraying the characters so I give it a thumbs up.

The book is better. The movie was ok. The streep charachyer was good for 10 minutes. the main character was boring. go see something else.

IF your thing is fashion. You will dig this flick. Otherwise, it is boring, and VERY typical. If anything in this movie surprises you, then you haven't seen many movies before.

If your girlfriend (or boyfriend) makes you go see this movie, make sure they even it up later!
