Yeah, it's so nice to see him showing compassion for our "psyche", what an ingenious gesture.

Rove told him to use that expression to make the public think we are all weenies for disagreeing with him.

Bush hasn't had an opinion since he went into hiding during the Vietnam war.

Bush is a dangerous, dangerous man. He is an idiot and has so much power. I don't understand why he hasn't been impeached yet. He should be tried for war crimes himself.

its more like " weak stomach" because someone in the driver's sit is hiting too many pot holes. The back set passengers have no windows and are expecting to meet their demise in a ditch, off a cliff or into a tree, what ever wait to met them at the bottom of the next Hill.

I believe he said ' I know the war is straining the psyche of our country....' He also said other interesting things in this news conference; like how he would not question 'the patriotism of someone who disagreed with him.....'
Mmmm. Is GW getting 'mellow'?
I suspect the spin doctors have been at work again. It's still an interesting read.....

Of course he doesn't want to admit he did a lot of things wrong. This just proves that his web of deceit is starting to unwind and he is desperately grabbing onto any thread he can find.
It's not his fault the war is failing it's the damn people who oppose it. Damn them and their bad attitude. They jinxed him.

I think our strained psyche is totally justified considering the fact that we're seeing thousands of lives being lost all to satisfy that a**hole's pride. Sorry I'm not so optimistic. Seriously now, who else is surprised that no one's tried to assassinate him yet?

Bush is a delusional crackpot who thinks that anyone who doesn't agree with him is either a coward, a fool, or a servant of the devil. Maybe all the above.

Bush is used to getting what he wants by bullying. So to complete a phrase "Them is fighting words."

I guess he wants to make out another half trillion or so in payments to military vendors.

It's his way to say "yes, we have no valid reason to be there, and yes, I know you all realize it, but that just makes you weak to doubt me".

Great speech-writing, but his desperation is starting to show.
