If you were Iran ....would YOU back down!!! Or would you think that it's your right as an independent nation to have weapons just as any other nation does! Were not going to be able to stop
EVERY nation that comes into nuclear capability. Because most of those nations already have nukes. The U.S.needs to let those nations on that side of the world handle Iran. We cannot afford another Iraq situation!!!

No it should not back down. That leaves it vulnerable to an attack by Israel, which seems to be trying to work its way through all the arab countries. But giving in would be like running away from the school bully...it will just encourage more torment to the victim. If Israel leaves it alone, nothing will happen. But Iran should not just sit and wait to become the next Iraq.

Iran should back down because it is placing itself on a collision course with a war it may never be prepared to win.

It wont. The president is trying to achieve a cold war status against the US (won't work).
Personally I don't think it should. Not because I support Iran, but if it backs down nothing will be settled.
I think that we should talk to Iran, listen to what they have to say... and move from there. Whether that means war... or cooperation.. or hate.. I dunno. But how can we attack someone that we don't know if we hate them.
Whatever..... Not my job to think about this ****. I just vote.

I doubt it will back down in the conventional sense. It may be considered backing down if the US bombs it back to prehistory.
Should it back down? No. Why would it? It has seen what works with N. Korea. It is playing the same game.

No. I think they are getting ready to missle Israel. Every country has the right to protect themselves whether we agree with their philosophy or not. I think they should or we could see the beginning of a nuclear war.

As for should they? Yes, they should.
This time I think there will be a nuclear response. As far as I'm concerned, it's way overdue.
